Make-A-Wish Foundation

On Wednesday, February 2nd, Sophia Morton, Wish Program Manager for Ohio, contacted our club about
information on Treasure Hunt cars. They have a 16 year old boy that was recently diagnosed with
Ewing's Sarcoma. His wish was to finish his Treasure Hunt collection so they were interested in
finding a dealer or online shop that they could purchase these cars from.
A few posts were made at Hot Wheels Collectors
website and at Joe's Diecast Shack to ask if others
would help Make-A-Wish and donate the cars. The response was overwhelming and out of 42 needed cars,
only one had to be bought to complete the set. Sophia and the Make-A-Wish group gives their many
thanks to everyone that helped out with this very ambitious goal.
These cars will be given to the recipient on February 26th, at the Ohio Motorsports Expo.
Once we get a few pictures from the event, we will post them here for everyone to see.
